Internet Reporter Exposes
Dirty Tricks Affiliate Marketing Scammers Use To Rip Off Unsuspecting Consumers

By Jack Drummond

DATELINE CHICAGO - Affiliate marketing is perhaps the hottest money making opportunity on the Internet.

Millions of people buy into the big promise. Make a fortune working from home without lifting a finger. Dozens of "gurus" peddle e-books, programs and seminars promising to teach the easiest and fastest ways to generate cash online.

A Google search for the term "affiliate marketing" brings up over 7,090,000 web pages. Which proves this is a hot topic for consumers.

Could all these websites really teach anyone how to make money online?

Recently, I decided to research this industry. I wanted to see if any honest programs existed. Something an average person could use quickly to bring in a few extra hundred bucks.

What I Uncovered Was Shocking

The facts show consumers are looking for quick and legitimate ways to earn extra money. The lure of the Internet is that you make big money with little to no work.

Who wouldn't want to have money flooding into their bank account by working a few hours a week from home in their spare time? That sounds like a dream come true for most people. You could use the money to pay off bills, pay down credit cards and enjoy more time with family.

Everyone loves that idea.

The problem is scammers know this too. They rely on dirty marketing tricks and fantastic claims because they realize consumers eat this stuff up.

These scam artists are master manipulators who get unwary people to fork over their hard-earned money for training materials that promise the world. But, more often than not...

The Majority Of These Programs
Don't Deliver On The Promises
Made In The Advertising!

During my investigation I discovered 95% or more of the so-called "gurus" are total frauds. A few of them have been shut down by the government. Yet they continue to operate in some cases under assumed names. Or they hire someone else to "front" their illicit operation... but... they control things from underground.

Let me tell you how they lure unsuspecting and honest consumers to waste money on their worthless programs...

  • Fake success stories. These people seem to have no regard for anyone. They use ethical marketing secrets in unethical ways to make themselves seem believable. Rip-off artists rely on big claims that promise the world on their websites. They boast about huge earnings. But, in many cases, they are outright lying. They make up elaborate stories to "prove" their claims. Because they know people like to read these kinds of success stories.
  • Fake earnings screen shots. Often to "prove" they are telling the "truth" - their twisted version of the truth - scammers offer screen shots from their accounts showing how much they made. Again, often they simply used software like Photoshop to "doctor" up fake earnings statements. And they are so good at this it's almost impossible to tell the statements are false.
  • Fake testimonials. At the beginning of 2010 the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) instituted new laws regarding testimonials. Why? Because online scammers ruthlessly included fake testimonials - either completely made up or hyped-up - on their websites.

Look, there is nothing wrong with using real success stories... real earnings statements... and... real testimonials. Marketers know these devices help to prove their case.

But the scammers, in an effort to make the "Almighty Buck", use these strategies to separate people from their money unethically and even illegally.

Besides the marketing schemes above...

The Other Problem Consumers Contend
With Is
 Information Overload

Dozens of "gurus" profess to know the secrets of successful affiliate marketing. Millions of web pages contain content on this subject. Thousands of programs exist. It's impossible for the average person to wade through all of them to find the legitimate ones.

Maybe you've already fallen prey to one or more of these scammers. Maybe you've bought your share of affiliate marketing programs only to be disappointed time after time.

In my research, I did too. I bought dozens of e-books and programs. I attended my share of "free" teleseminars and webinars. My intention was to see which ones... if any... actually work as advertised. I wanted to discover those programs that really delivered the goods and helped people make money online.

Unfortunately, I quickly came to the conclusion that...

Over 95% Of Affiliate Marketing
Products Are Garbage

In fact, I went a step further and spoke with a few of the "gurus." Some admitted their materials didn't work. But they knew there is a big and growing market for this information. So they used every dirty trick in the book to hard-sell their crap to the general public. And there's no one out there to police or stop them.

Which is one of the main reasons I wrote this expose. To alert consumers about what to watch out for when investing in these programs.

Here are the main problems I discovered with the programs that did not work...

  • Out-dated information. On the Internet things happen lightening-fast. If the content of a program is not up-to-date and fresh it won't work in the new online environment.
  • No customer support. Once you bought one of these programs you were on your own. There was no one there to email with questions. No "life line" was given by the product owner to help customers along.
  • Constant hard-selling. I found my email inbox stuffed with sales pitches every single day. No additional helpful content was ever sent. In addition, somehow my email was on other guru lists even though I was promised it would never be shared.

After getting burned myself I realized too many consumers were buying useless products that would never... and I mean never... help them make a single penny.

Yet scammers are making money hand-over-fist ripping people off.

However, while sifting through the scams...

I Stumbled Upon A Real
Affiliate Marketing Expert

She did not set out to become a "guru" online. Instead she is an everyday, average working lady who figured out how to make a great living online as an affiliate. When she first got started she just made a little extra money here and there. Eventually she made big breakthroughs.

Allowing her to earn a great income online - in her spare time - using nothing more than a home computer and Internet connection.

The program she offers reveals step-by-step detailed instructions. She shows you what's what's working now - today - to start a thriving affiliate marketing home business.

She provides customer support (she responded to me within 10 minutes of sending an email because I had a question about her product)... and... additional content that helps you use her program.

I got excited when I found out many people who invested in her program had some measure of success. They were actually making money online. Some were earning up to $250 a day following the simple guidelines and blueprints in her affiliate marketing tutorial.

Finding This Was Like
A Breath Of Fresh Air

I had almost given up hope of finding a program anyone can use to make money online as an affiliate. This program delivered on its promises.

But don't take my word for it. You can visit her website below and see for yourself. A nominal fee is charged for access to her training material. That's to be expected of any legitimate company who sells products.

If you decide her program is for you I'd advise you to grab it quickly. It's come to my attention that the program owner might do some price testing in the near future. No one knows exactly when. So the price might very well go up soon. (By the way, you did not hear that from me!)

Well, I gotta tell you, I'm glad I found this program.

I was totally disappointed with most of the gurus and affiliate marketing products I investigated. That's why I strongly suggest you don't take any chances getting any programs other than the one listed below.

Whatever you decide, I hope you found this article helpful in your quest for making money online. It can be done as millions of others proved it already.

Now it's your turn.
